| In plain English: We stand behind the shedio program. If you follow it and don’t get visible results within the first 30 days, we’ll offer a refund — subject to the specific conditions below. You also have any statutory refund or withdrawal rights your local law gives you, such as the 14-day withdrawal right in the EEA and the UK. Those statutory rights are separate from — and not limited by — our money-back guarantee. Separately, and purely as a matter of our own policy, we give California and Connecticut residents a three-business-day cooling-off period (Section 4.2). This Money-Back Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions of Use and Subscription Terms. If there is any inconsistency, the Terms and Conditions of Use will prevail. |

1. How this Policy is structured
Whether and how you can receive a refund depends on three independent sources of rights:
- Our discretionary Money-Back Guarantee (Section 2). This is a voluntary program we offer, subject to specific conditions. It is designed to protect users who actually follow the program and see no visible results.
- Our General Refund Rules (Section 3). Outside of the Money-Back Guarantee, refunds are issued at our sole discretion.
- Your statutory rights under applicable law (Section 4). These are the rights your local law grants you — for example, the 14-day withdrawal right in the EEA and the UK. We are legally required to honor these and they apply in addition to anything else in this Policy. Section 4 also sets out one right we give voluntarily, which the law does not require of us: the three-business-day cooling-off period for California and Connecticut residents.
| Important: If a statutory right gives you a broader refund than our Money-Back Guarantee, the statutory right applies. Nothing in this Policy limits, waives, or excludes any non-waivable statutory right you have under applicable law. |
|---|
2. Money-Back Guarantee (discretionary)
If you purchased your shedio subscription directly on our website and the money-back option was presented to you during checkout, you may be eligible to receive a refund if you did not get visible results with our program, provided that all of the conditions in Sections 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 below are met. This Money-Back Guarantee is a voluntary program offered in addition to (not in place of) any statutory refund or withdrawal right you may have. It does not apply to Add-Ons, physical products, one-time purchases of digital content, consultations, or purchases made through an App Store.
2.1. Time conditions
Your request will be eligible only if:
- You contact us within 30 days after your initial Purchase; and
- Your contact reaches us before the end of your current subscription period. Once the subscription period has expired, the Money-Back Guarantee no longer applies. Note for weekly and biweekly subscriptions. Because these subscription periods are shorter than 30 days, the practical window for a Money-Back Guarantee request is the length of your subscription period, not 30 days. The corresponding programme-completion requirements are set out in the table in Section 2.2. This does not affect any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right you may have under Section 4.
2.2. Program-completion conditions
To qualify, you must have genuinely followed the program for a meaningful period. The specific requirement depends on the length of your subscription:
| Subscription period you purchased | Minimum time you must have followed the program | Minimum sessions you must have completed |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly, 3-month, 6-month, annual, or longer | At least 7 consecutive days within the first 30 days after Purchase | At least 7 workouts or other tracked sessions |
| Weekly or biweekly | At least 3 consecutive days within the first 7 days after Purchase | At least 3 workouts or other tracked sessions |
Worked examples These examples illustrate how the conditions above are applied. They are illustrative only and do not create new rights or obligations.
| Eligible. You buy a 3-month subscription on March 1. Between March 2 and March 12 (11 days), you complete 8 workouts in the App. On March 20, you contact us and demonstrate completion via screenshots. → Conditions met (within 30 days, 7+ consecutive days, 7+ sessions). Eligible. You buy a weekly subscription on March 1. Between March 1 and March 5, you complete 4 workouts on consecutive days. On March 6, you contact us. → Conditions met (within 7 days, 3+ consecutive days, 3+ sessions). Ineligible — not consecutive. You buy a 3-month subscription on March 1. You complete 4 workouts in the first week, skip several weeks, then complete 4 more workouts in week 4. → Conditions not met (no run of 7 consecutive days within the first 30 days). Ineligible — outside time window. You buy a 3-month subscription on March 1. You complete 7 workouts on 7 consecutive days, but only between April 10 and April 17. → Conditions not met (sessions completed after the first 30 days). Ineligible — late request. You buy a monthly subscription on March 1. You complete the program. You contact us on April 5 (35 days after purchase). → Conditions not met (request received outside the 30-day window). Ineligible — App Store purchase. You bought your subscription via the Apple App Store or Google Play. → Money-Back Guarantee does not apply; refunds are handled by the App Store (see Section 5). |

2.3. How to demonstrate you followed the program
To evidence that you met the program-completion conditions, please provide, together with your request, screenshots from the shedio App showing that you have completed the minimum number of sessions required above. The screenshots must clearly display:
- The account email or user name that matches your shedio account;
- The dates on which the sessions were completed;
- The name and duration of each session. We may also review the activity and session-completion records in your shedio account to independently verify program completion.
2.4. How to submit a request
To submit a Money-Back Guarantee request, contact us at support@shedio.life from the email address associated with your shedio account, with the subject line “Money-Back Guarantee request — [your order number]”. Please include:
- The order number or transaction ID from your purchase receipt;
- A brief explanation of why you did not achieve visible results;
- Screenshots evidencing that you met the program-completion conditions (Section 2.3).
2.5. Review and outcome
We will review your application and notify you of the outcome by email within a reasonable period after receiving a complete request, and in any event within any timeframe required by applicable law. Where the conditions above are met, we will approve the refund. Where the conditions are not met, we may still, at our sole discretion, grant a refund or offer an alternative remedy such as extending your subscription, providing a partial refund, or offering a voucher. Refund scope and eligibility limits
- Amount. Where a refund is approved under this Money-Back Guarantee, it covers the amount you actually paid for the qualifying subscription period.
- First subscription payment only. Unless we expressly state otherwise at the point of purchase, the Money-Back Guarantee covers only the initial subscription payment for which you submit a qualifying request. Subsequent renewal payments, additional offers, and Add-Ons are not refundable under the Money-Back Guarantee.
- One Money-Back Guarantee per user. You are eligible to receive a refund under the Money-Back Guarantee only once. If you previously received a Money-Back Guarantee refund and later re-purchase a shedio subscription, you will not be eligible for the Money-Back Guarantee on the new subscription. We may decline subsequent Money-Back Guarantee requests submitted by the same user, household, device, payment method, or related accounts.
- Disqualifying conduct. Violation of these terms or of our Terms and Conditions of Use, or conduct described in Section 8 (Prevention of abuse and bad-faith claims), may disqualify you from receiving a refund under the Money-Back Guarantee.
| Please note: Fulfillment of the conditions above is what allows us to approve a refund under this Money-Back Guarantee. For clarity, the Money-Back Guarantee does not apply automatically to any other situation (for example, if you change your mind, if you forgot to cancel, or if you did not use the Service). In those cases, please see Sections 3 and 4 below. |
|---|
3. General refund rules
We value your feedback and work hard to make you happy with our Service. If you are not completely satisfied and do not qualify for the Money-Back Guarantee in Section 2, the following general rules apply. Except as otherwise provided in this Policy, in our Terms and Conditions of Use, or as required by applicable law, the fees you have paid are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Certain refund requests that fall outside Section 2 may still be considered by us on a case-by-case basis and granted at our sole discretion — for example, where a technical issue on our side prevented you from accessing the Service, or where we believe a refund is fair in the circumstances. A discretionary refund under this Section 3 can usually be claimed only during the subscription period to which it relates. If the subscription period has expired before you submit a request, we may decline to issue a refund.
| Non-use does not entitle you to a refund. Whether or not you choose to actually access or use the Service after Purchase (or after a Trial begins) is at your discretion. Non-use of the Service, infrequent use, or a change of mind about using the Service does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund under our Money-Back Guarantee or under these General Refund Rules. This does not affect statutory rights described in Section 4. |
|---|
4. Statutory rights by jurisdiction
The rights below apply automatically under your local law and are not affected by this Policy. Where the rights below are broader than our Money-Back Guarantee or General Refund Rules, the statutory right applies.
4.1. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are a consumer based in the EEA or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for our digital services within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason. Two different rules apply, depending on what you bought:
- A subscription (a service supplied over time). By subscribing, you expressly ask us to start supplying the Service immediately. You keep your right to withdraw during the 14-day period; if you exercise it, we refund what you paid less an amount proportionate to the Service actually supplied to you before you told us you were withdrawing.
- A single item of digital content supplied immediately (for example, a video recording or a PDF). Here, and only here, you lose your right of withdrawal — but only if you expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose the right. We ask for that consent and that acknowledgement before we supply the content. Switzerland. Swiss law does not give consumers a statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online. We nevertheless grant Swiss consumers the same 14-day right, as a contractual commitment. How to exercise your right of withdrawal To exercise your right of withdrawal within the 14-day period, you must inform us — Atelo Information Technology Ltd (d/b/a “shedio”), 1226 North King St Num 1382, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA, email support@shedio.life — of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model form in Annex A, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, your communication must be sent before the 14-day period expires. Any unequivocal statement is sufficient. You do not need to use any particular wording, form, or channel: an email to support@shedio.life saying that you withdraw from the contract is enough. We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium (for example, by email) without undue delay, and we will refund you using the same means of payment you used, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of being informed of your decision.
4.2. California and Connecticut (voluntary)
As a matter of our own policy — and not because any statute requires it — if you reside in California or Connecticut and you cancel a Purchase made directly from us before midnight on the third business day after the date of that Purchase, we will refund what you paid, without asking you for a reason. This is a commitment we choose to make; it is in addition to, and does not limit, any right you have under applicable law.
4.3. Other U.S. states
If you reside in another U.S. state with an automatic-renewal law that grants you additional refund or cancellation rights (for example, certain provisions of Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, or Virginia law), we will honor those rights in addition to our Money-Back Guarantee and General Refund Rules.
5. Purchases made through an App Store
Subscriptions purchased via an App Store are subject to that App Store’s refund policies — not this Policy. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for an App Store purchase, please contact the applicable App Store:
- Apple App Store: Submit a refund request through https://support.apple.com/HT204084.
- Google Play Store: Submit a refund request through your Google account subscription settings, or see https://support.google.com/googleplay. We generally cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. However, where applicable law (for example, your statutory rights under Section 4) gives you a right to a refund that applies regardless of where you purchased, please contact us and we will work with you and, where applicable, the App Store to resolve the request.
6. How refunds are processed
- Method. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the Purchase. If that method is no longer available (for example, a closed card account), we will work with you to find a reasonable alternative permitted by our payment processors and applicable law. For fraud-prevention reasons, we do not refund to a different payment method, a different person, or a different country than the original.
- Currency. Refunds are made in the same currency as the original Purchase. Currency fluctuation between the Purchase date and the refund date is handled by your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
- Processing time. Once approved, we will issue the refund within any timeframe required by applicable law and otherwise without undue delay. The time it then takes to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
- Effect on subscription. Approval of a refund typically terminates your access to the associated subscription immediately, or at the end of the period to which the refund relates, as we determine is appropriate in the circumstances.
- Taxes and fees. Refunds may or may not include taxes and payment-processing fees, depending on applicable law and the rules of the relevant tax authority. Where we are not entitled to recover taxes paid on your behalf, we will only refund the net amount we received.
7. Chargebacks and duplicate refunds
| Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We commit to reviewing every refund request promptly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us can delay your refund, and in some circumstances may lead to suspension of your shedio account. |
|---|
7.1. One refund per transaction
You may only receive one refund per transaction. If we have approved and issued a refund, please do not also file a chargeback with your bank or card issuer for the same transaction — this may result in duplicate recovery, which is not permitted. If you receive more than one refund for the same transaction (for example, a refund from us and a chargeback from your bank), we have the right to work with your payment provider to recover the duplicate amount, and we may bill you for the duplicate amount if recovery is not possible through the payment provider.
7.2. Chargebacks filed without prior contact
If you file a chargeback or ask your bank or card issuer to reverse a payment without first contacting us, we may treat this as a sign that you no longer wish to use the Service and may immediately suspend or terminate your account. If the chargeback is later decided in our favor and you wish to use the Service again, you may contact us to discuss reopening your account.
7.3. Bad-faith chargebacks
If we reasonably believe a chargeback is false, dishonest, fraudulent, or made in bad faith (for example, where a user demonstrably used the Service for an extended period after claiming “item not received” or “subscription not as described”), we may:
- Permanently ban you and any associated accounts from the Service;
- Refuse to issue future refunds to you, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law;
- Pursue recovery of the disputed amount, any chargeback or representment fees we incur, and reasonable legal costs;
- Report the conduct to our payment processors and, where appropriate, to law-enforcement authorities. Nothing in this Section 7 is intended to restrict any non-waivable statutory right you have to dispute a payment under applicable consumer-protection or payment-services laws, including the U.S. Fair Credit Billing Act (for credit-card payments) or the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E (for debit-card and bank payments), the EU Payment Services Directive, or similar.
8. Prevention of abuse and bad-faith claims
The Money-Back Guarantee is designed to help users who genuinely tried the program and did not see results. We may decline — or reverse — a refund request if, in our reasonable judgment, there is evidence that the request is abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise made in bad faith. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Repeated purchases and refunds by the same user, household, device, payment method, IP address, or related accounts, beyond a reasonable number of genuine attempts;
- Creating multiple accounts solely to repeatedly claim the Money-Back Guarantee;
- Submitting fabricated, altered, or reused screenshots as evidence of program completion;
- Requesting a refund while continuing to use the Service in an unaltered pattern (including, for example, continuing to log workouts or content consumption after claiming non-use);
- Requesting a refund in combination with a chargeback for the same transaction;
- Requesting a refund through deception regarding identity, location, age, or eligibility. In cases of suspected abuse, we may (a) require additional identity verification; (b) delay a refund decision pending investigation; (c) decline the request; (d) suspend or terminate the associated account(s); or (e) take any other action we reasonably consider necessary to prevent loss, in each case to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. For the avoidance of doubt, genuine users acting in good faith are not affected by this Section 8.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will indicate when the latest changes were made. Changes will apply to purchases completed after the effective date of the update. Purchases completed before the update remain governed by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of the Purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
